10 steps to improve relationships with ourselves first then with others:

  1. Be humble
  2. Acknowledge the Power within greater than ourselves
  3. Stop the reactive cycle – Pause, Pray, Listen, Process then Proceed
  4. Know the intention behind your thoughts, words and actions
  5. Apologize sooner rather than later
  6. Forgive yourself, then make different choices
  7. Seek to resolve differences and live peacefully
  8. Let go of the memory lists – the people, places and things that were disappointing and hurtful
  9. Be mindful, aware and alert of your surroundings and influencers
  10. Become the prayer you pray

Easy, not a chance; BUT, each step is possible; AND, oh so rewarding.
